We brought our 2-year-old son in for his first visit with Dr. Dikansky, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The office has such a warm, kid-friendly environment that immediately put him at ease. The entire staff was friendly, patient, and clearly experienced with young patients. Dr. Dikansky was gentle and reassuring during the cleaning and fluoride treatment, making sure our son felt comfortable every step of the way. She also took the time to give us great advice on maintaining good oral health at home, which we really appreciated. It’s clear this practice genuinely cares about making dental visits a positive experience for kids rather than something to fear. We couldn’t be happier and highly recommend Dr. Dikansky to any parent looking for a great pediatric dentist!

We first visited Smile Out Loud in May when my 6 year old was having horrible tooth pain. We immediately fell in love with the office and every team member from Inga, the receptionist to Dr. Jackie. Literally every person you encounter here is friendly, patient, compassionate, knowledgeable, and efficient. We’ve had several follow up visits since then and they only get better. Every doctor gives the same level of care and compassion. Every receptionist is pleasant and accommodating. Inga in particular is great at communicating with us prior to arrival and during check in. The dental assistants are amazing with my daughter, making conversation with her, talking her through every step, comforting her when needed, and helping her choose prizes. I’ve even noticed how efficient they are when supporting the doctors, anticipating their needs and at times even surprising the doctors. This is an amazing practice and I’m happy we’ve found it. ~Havanah’s mom

Dr. Jackie and her team are the best you could hope for if looking for a dentist for your kid. They were able to see us on Memorial Day weekend for an emergency and arranged more extensive work under anesthesia with an equally excellent anesthesiologist, Dr. Marn. While this would certainly be an anxiety provoking situation for any parent, I felt very at ease with the team. They were professional, kind with great bedside manner for my extremely anxious son, and provided clinically excellent services, educating my husband and I all along about what was needed. My son seems to be healing quite well and was back to himself by the next day. I am a healthcare provider myself who is quite picky with who takes care of my family and would give Smile Out Loud my highest recommendation.

Dr. Jackie is the best! My daughter loves going to the dentist and her teeth are immaculate. Doctor is professional, caring and just excellent at her job. The place is clean and fun and has prizes for kids. Can’t recommend highly enough

So grateful for the wonderful care my daughter has gotten at Smile Out Loud with Dr. Jackie. Within a few months of her teeth coming in, I noticed something was off. Within the following year, I was told by multiple dentists that my 2 year old would need extensive dental work which would require her to be sedated. All the NYC area hospitals had a years-long waitlist, many refused my insurance saying they would only accept Medicaid. Other pediatric dentists either did not offer this level of service for a 2.5 year old or did not take insurance. With Dr Jackie, my daughter got the care she needed and no longer experiences daily pain brushing her teeth. 6 months later, her teeth are doing well, she is cavity free and doesn’t have any pain when brushing her teeth like she did prior to treatment. Dr Jackie is so good with her, trying to make her visits as pleasant as possible. Highly recommend Dr Jackie.
